This week, Elms, Oaks and Beeches have been working towards writing a setting description based on the short film ‘Eye of the Storm’. Today, we explored new vocabulary that we could use to enrich our description. We had a word mat of higher order vocabulary and used the iPads to look up definitions and find synonyms online. Next, we will include this vocabulary in sentences that will form part of our setting description.
