Article 28: You have the right to a good quality education. You should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level you can.
Last week the children had the opportunity to go and visit Beamish to learn about toys from the past and how they have changed over time. The children were transported back in time, taking part in a workshop in which they got to play with toys from the past. They had to think about what they were made from and what powered them. The children experienced what life may have been like in a Victorian classroom (there was fantastic acting when the cane came out!) and played with boolers in the playground. Well done to Mr Tuck who was the booling champion! All children had a fantastic day but we’re glad that we live in the 21st Century!
Thank you to all our parent helpers who joined us on the day!
Thank you also to the PTA and school tuck shop for helping fund this trip!
