Windy Nook Primary School is gearing up for Christmas with singing, acting and preparations in full steam for the various shows and performances. As usual, the school will be inviting children to wear a Christmas jumper and have a Christmas lunch. These will take place on Friday 13th December and both the jumper and school Christmas lunch are optional (more information regarding Christmas Lunch and Jumper Day will be sent to parents/carers shortly).
To help prevent buying a Christmas jumper unnecessarily, we have a Christmas jumper swap rack at school reception (as modelled below by our School Councillors) before and after school. We welcome you to either donate a child’s Christmas jumper, swap a jumper or simply take a jumper for your child.
Article 27: You have the right to food, clothing, a safe place to live and to have your basic needs met. You should not be disadvantaged so that you can’t do many of the things other kids can do.
