This week in nursery we focussed on Remembrance Day. We made a large poppy collage using any red and black items that we could find in nursery and we participated in a minute silence at 11:00 while standing around our poppy. We produced some beautiful drawings of poppies which are displayed in nursery. We also created poppies on the interactive white board, the painting easel and at the play dough table. We made some red play dough following our recipe booklet. We continued to focus on comparison during our maths session. For physical development we continued to work on balance with Mr Gibson. To help strengthen our hands on Wednesday, half of us participated in Playdough Disco and the other half completed Squiggle While You Wiggle. On Friday we participated in Odd Socks Day we wore mismatched socks and created a pair of odd socks on paper. During our outdoor session we created a compost heap to compost the vast amount of leaves we have at the moment.
