We have had a wonderful week in nursery. On Monday we performed six Christmas songs on stage for our families. We sang beautifully and we signed expertly! To celebrate our excellent performance we made and ate pop corn like the characters in two books that we have shared in nursery called Bear Snores On and Bear Stays Up. We also ‘brewed black tea’ like the characters in the story. On Tuesday we thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas party. We played Christmas Corners, Pass the Parcel, danced to pop songs and of course we ate some party food. This week we have also found out about how Christians celebrate Christmas and read the book The First Christmas. We re-enacted the story using wooden characters from the book.
