We are pleased to announce we have been successful in obtaining the funding to run a wrap around after school club. The club will be based in the Hive although the children will also access the school outside areas, the school hall and dining room.
The club will run every night from 3:15-6pm. The following costs will apply.
End of school 3:15 until 4.30pm – £6.00. These children will receive a small snack.
End of school 3:15 until 6.00pm – £10.00. These children will receive a more substantial snack.
If children attend the session after an in-school club, the following criteria is applied. This is because, in line with staffing ratios, an after-school club space is occupied.
- A child who attends the provision following an in-school club which finishes at 4:15pm will be charged £2 if collected at 4:30pm. This can only be applied if a space is available.
- A child who attends the provision following an in-school club which finishes at 4:00pm will be charged £4 if collected at 4:30pm. This can only be applied if a space is available.
- A child who attends the provision following an in-school club and is collected after 4:30pm, a charge of £10 is applied
It will be run by two existing members of staff, who were successful during the recruitment process. Miss Turnbull, who works as a TA in school, will be the Wrap Around Care lead and Miss Grant, who works in breakfast club and the school kitchen, will be the Wrap Around Care assistant.
Parents will be able to book their children onto the club using the Arbor app. If you are unsure how to do this, Mrs. Riley in the office will be able to help you.
We are going to trial the club for 4 weeks before the summer holidays starting 23rd June. We will send out more information including the school’s Wrap around Care policy and how to book a place nearer the time.
