This week, our Reception children have been busy discovering the wonderful world of snails! They had great fun going on a snail hunt around the school, spotting where these little creatures like to hide. Back in class, they learned all about the snail’s life cycle, body parts, and where they live. The children even created their own mini snail home and carefully observed their new friends, noticing how they move and behave. They finished the week by sketching the snails, using magnifying glasses to help them spot all the tiny details. It’s been a lovely mix of learning, creativity, and caring for nature!
