This week Key Stage 1 were treated to a visit from Tyne and Wear Fire Brigade to support in our History and PSHE curriculum. Mark talked about the changes in fire safety since 1666 before allowing the children to explore the fire engine, try on a helmet and use thermal imaging cameras and the fire hose!
The children asked great questions and showed off lots of impressive knowledge of their own.
We are very grateful to Tyne and Wear Fire Service for coming in and teaching us lots of important information.
Thank you!
