After seven wonderful sessions of Crocheting Club, all of the children successfully learned the chain stitch, with some going on to master the single crochet and slip stitch too. While a few children needed a little more support along the way, everyone created and completed their own unique item to take home. Although the original plan was to make dish cloths, the children’s creativity took over, resulting in a delightful variety of weird and wonderful shapes that inspired them to adapt their ideas—producing everything from jewellery to scarves for their toys and more. It’s been a joyful journey of learning, imagination, and proud accomplishments!
