The reception children marked Remembrance Day through meaningful craft activities and gentle reflection. They explored the shape and symbolism of poppies, to create their own beautiful poppies. These hands-on experiences supported fine motor development and creativity, while also offering a calm and respectful way to learn about remembrance. The children watched a short video of falling poppies to help focus during our minute of silence.
