Learning About Christianity in UKS2

Today, UKS2 were visited by Reverend Ken and Lynn, who are members of our local community from St. Alban’s Church. They explained their Christian beliefs to the class, and talked about some of the amazing work they do in the community, such as supporting homeless people, fundraising and supporting local food banks. It was a great opportunity to learn about how Christians live and work in our local area. The children also had the opportunity to ask questions to our visitors about their beliefs and community work. The session was very informative and will help support our understanding of Christianity linked to our R.E. topic. A huge thank you to Reverend Ken and Lynn for giving up their time to come and talk to us.
