English – 86 & 87
Maths – there is no written maths homework this week. We are taking part in a Times Tables Rockstars Battle against Oaks and Beeches. Elms homework this week is to do Times Tables Rockstars. This is the last week of our battle and it is very close between Elms and Beeches classes – every little helps!
Reading Plus – 5 texts to be completed by Thursday. Time is given in class and children are usually able to complete 3-4 in class; the remainder are to be completed at home.
Daily reading – diaries will be checked on Fridays and a prize is given to any children who have read 5 times in a week.
Homework club is available for all children to access if needed on a Wednesday lunchtime. Homework is due in on Thursday. If homework is not handed in by Thursday, children will go to homework catch-up during golden time on Friday afternoon.
