Year 1 were absolutely fantastic in their maths learning this week as they explored grouping and sharing using counters and cakes. Working in pairs, the children discussed their ideas brilliantly, supported one another, and used careful reasoning to decide how to share items equally. Their teamwork, enthusiasm, and growing confidence in using mathematical language made the classroom buzz with excitement!
