This week, Nursery, Ladybirds and Dragonflies have enjoyed taking part in a range of science week linked activities. We have completed a range of mini investigations to develop our skills in working scientifically. In Reception we created our own boats and tested them to see if they would float and used our scientific enquiry skills to create structures with pasta and playdough. In Nursery we explored creating our own filters to get dirty water clean again and explored using heavy objects to make the water level in a bucket rise so that we could rescue a toy. We enjoyed having the chance to use our teamwork skills and have used a lot of scientific language this week whilst having opportunities to test our ideas.
