This week, Robins, Owls and Nightingales have enjoyed taking part in a range of science week linked activities. We have watched live lessons about farming and completed a range of mini investigations to develop our skills in working scientifically We created our own catapults and tested them to see how far we could make our paper balls travel. We used our scientific enquiry skills and changed variables to see if this impacted how far the balls travelled. We also explored birds nests, looking at their structure and the materials birds used to create them, before working together to make our own birds nests. We enjoyed having the chance to use our teamwork skills and have used a lot of scientific language this week whilst having opportunities to test our ideas.
