Reception have been busy exploring the exciting world of 3D shapes this week! Children revisited familiar 2D shapes before diving into the features of 3D ones—identifying faces, edges and vertices with growing confidence. They investigated real-life objects to spot shapes in the environment, showing fantastic curiosity and perseverance. A highlight was using 3D shapes dipped in paint to print the 2D faces they discovered!
