This week in Robins, we’ve been busy investigating the mass of different objects. The children have been using words like heavy, light, greater than, and less than to compare items around the classroom.
Using balance scales and non‑standard units (our trusty cubes!), we explored:
Which objects are heavier or lighter?
How many cubes does an object weigh?
Can we predict before we measure?
Were our predictions correct?
Our young mathematicians loved comparing, testing, and discovering—lots of brilliant reasoning and excited predictions!
