The Robins have made a fantastic start to the new school year! They have settled brilliantly into their new classroom and have been working hard to learn and follow our new routines.
In Maths, the children have enjoyed lots of practical activities to help them develop their understanding of place value. They have been using a range of resources to explore numbers and build their confidence with counting and representing values.
In English, the Robins are making great progress with writing, beginning to write simple sentences independently. We have also loved sharing the story The Squirrels Who Squabbled. The children thoroughly enjoyed bringing the story to life through drama and role play, showing excellent acting skills and lots of enthusiasm. We have also learned lots of new vocabulary such as frustrated and furious.
The Robins have also been fantastic at playing Stuck in the Mud during PE and outdoor learning. They have demonstrated excellent teamwork, encouraging one another, working together, and helping their friends to succeed.
We are especially proud of how the Robins are demonstrating our school values every day. They always try their best, work hard in their learning, and show kindness by helping and supporting their friends.
Well done, Robins! We are looking forward to another exciting year of learning, friendship and fun.
