Last week, Windy Nook took a boys’ football squad to compete in the final of the Gateshead Schools League competition.
With a great team spirit, 100% effort and some excellent football, the boys did themselves and the school proud. We manged a superb 2-0 win in one game, with lovely goals from Matthew and Jacob. Unfortunately, we didn’t pick up enough points to win the trophy; however, the team kept on going and never gave up.
