The whole school excitedly engaged in a wide range of book-related activities in class. We had a week-long book fayre, with many fantastic reads up for grabs. The children also took part in book swaps and voted for Windy Nook’s favourite book.
In each class, one child received a prize book as reward for their hard work during World Book Day.
As well as everything else that was going on, Mr Atkinson from WH Smith kindly came into school to give a book to every child. We’d like to say a huge thank you to him for this generosity.
