For those families with English as an Additional Language, the website has a built in translation app, which also reads the text for those who cannot read in their own language.
You may find it useful to share this link with some of your families, alongside the information already provided by the Council.
Staff from Gateshead Housing Company support families placed in Gateshead through the Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Programme and are aware of the scheme. Families often share letters with them, so they will be supported to understand and use the payment cards they receive.
