Hello Bluebells, Snowdrops and Tulips,
Thank you for getting off to a super start with your home learning yesterday.
Today, your English home learning is on GOOGLE CLASSROOM. Remember to use your new class code which will add you to either the ‘Year 3’ or ‘Year 4’ class. At the top of this web post, you can see a link to ‘New google class.’ Please click on that link to get a step-by-step guide for how to join the new Google class.
Grammar is at this link: screen 1 – Natural Curriculum Please watch the video about the black mamba and then read Slides 1 and 2. Then complete the three challenges on Slide 3. You can use pen and paper to record your answers.
For Spelling: please practise the following words from the Year 3/4 Spelling List: interest, favourite, February, library, early. You can use any activities from the Spelling menu we use in school e.g. bubble writing, writing them with your other hand, writing the words backwards or writing each letter in a different colour.
For Maths, please go to Conquer Maths, where you will find lessons and tasks set for you.
This afternoon, we’d like you to try some of the coding activities at ‘Hour of Code.’ Learn (hourofcode.com) When you do go to these activities, please start buy using tasks that are ‘Grade 2+’ e.g. Minecraft, Star Wars, Dance Party.
Best wishes,
Miss Hogg, Mr Newman and Mr Brown

As we adapt to the new situation, and in light of children now working in year groups rather than our usual class set up, we have rearranged Google Classroom. You will receive a text with a new class code for your child. Please use their login details as usual to log in to Google Classroom, then click on the plus symbol to join a class. You will receive a text with your child’s new class code. Enter that to join the new class. All work will now be posted in the classes by year groups rather than class names.
