Year 2 have been learning about waste in our environment. We looked at ways to upcycle our ‘rubbish’ so there is less waste. We found egg boxes to make into maths games and old containers to make into plant pots!
We have been upcycling yogurt pots to make pencil holders, jewellery boxes and places to keep our special things.
In the words of the wombles, now we know how to ‘make use of the things that we find, things that the everyday folks leave behind’
