Before our first Live Meet, please listen to the next chapter (10) of ‘There’s A Pharaoh in my Bath’ and then answer the question in the comments. Can you then practise your 8 x table on Hit The Button or TT Rock Stars please?
9AM Meet: ENGLISH
Spelling is on Google Classroom and has instructions for finding words ending in ‘al’ by going to Look, Cover, Write, Check- mobile friendly (ictgames.com). GaPbuster is a short activity where you have to spot conjunctions (words which link/join parts of a sentence). You then have an English task on Google Classroom where you have to write the opening newspaper report about the discovery of King Tut’s tomb. Please watch BBC Bitesize video and look at the Google Slides again.
10.30 Meet: Maths
This week, we will move on to division. Reasoning, problem solving and speed calc. are all on Google Classroom. For fluency, please go to Student and Teacher Login (mathsonline.com.au)
12PM MEET – RE. Your afternoon tasks are as follows:
RE is an activity where you create your own Garden of Eden. Please go to Google Classroom to read the slides and get more information.
Also go to Purple Mash by 2Simple for Chapter 1 of a new story about Ancient Egypt! Read the chapter then complete the Quiz.
