In years 3 and 4 we have been learning all about the ancient Egyptians in our topic Down the Nile. In our English lessons, we have been learning about Howard Carter’s discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb. We have learned about the different features of newspaper reports including headlines, paragraphing, direct and reported speech. This week we created our final newspaper reports, explaining the discovery of King Tut’s tomb.
