Good morning Year 2 and welcome back. I hope you had a good half term. Here is your work for today:
English Gap- Add ‘ed’ to the words correctly by doubling the consonant.
English- Main task- Watch the YouTube link about the life cycle of a frog, then highlight the enriched vocabulary in the text. Finally, match the enriched vocabulary to the correct definition.
Maths- Google classroom- Write the correct times next to the pictures of the clocks.
Maths- Purple Mash- Complete the purple mash task to practice telling the time to the hour.
Reading- Read the first chapter of Zara and the lost cat and complete the quiz.
Science- Main task- Watch the video on BBC Bitesize that is linked on google classroom and label the parts of the plant on the purple mash task.
Science- Practical- If you have collected the pack from school, you will have some plant pots, cress seeds and sunflower seeds. You should plant these and complete a diary over the next few weeks to see how they grow. Resources with information about how to plant each seed and an example my diary sheet can be found on google classroom.
Our meets today are at 9.30, 11 and 1.30.
