Since returning to school, we have been doing a lot of work around kindness, friendship and working in a team. Yesterday, children in Nightingales spent the afternoon outside creating art from nature. They worked in pairs or small groups to gather materials and create a picture. The children worked well together to agree on their pictures. When they returned to the classroom they then made a poster describing how to work well as part of a team. This has helped the children settle in again with one another and support each other’s learning.
