Beeches Visit the Revamped School Pond

This afternoon, Beeches were lucky enough to be the first class to visit the newly revamped school pond. We worked in small groups, pond-dipping to see if we could find any life in the pond. Although we only managed to find one worm, we really enjoyed the opportunity to do something different and learn more about the nature in our school grounds. While we waited for our turn pond-dipping, we sketched the nature around us and took the time for some mindfulness. We had a great afternoon!
