This week Lower Key Stage 2 have used their PHSE lesson to learn more about staying healthy by designing a timetable for their ‘Healthy School Week’. After learning a lot this half term about healthy foods, we focussed on how exercise and hydration were important in staying healthy. Children also spoke about how finding activities off a screen that give us joy can help with mental health. The children came up with great ideas for how to stay active and relaxed.

Article 17: You have the right to get information that is important to your well-being, from radio, newspaper, books, computers and other sources. Adults should make sure that the information you are getting is not harmful, and help you find and understand the information you need.
Article 24: You have the right to the best health care possible, safe water to drink, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help you stay well.
