Investigation focus: Research using secondary sources.
This term, children in year 5 have been learning about the human life cycle and as part of that we conducted an investigation surrounding: Why our hair turns grey as we grow older? The children used internet sources (including websites and videos) to find out if it is to do with genetics or lifestyle. To conclude their findings classes had interesting discussions surrounding what they could research further linked to this in the future. Overall some great scientific ideas and thinking!
Children then combined their ICT topic of creating concept maps to represent their findings in a visual and clear way!
