In PSHE this week, Year 5 and 6 have been learning about the features of healthy and unhealthy relationships/friendships and how to maintain personal boundaries. They then looked at what the police define as a gang and the associated behaviours. Stereotyping, criminality and what is legal/illegal was explored before learning strategies to say ‘no’ to peer pressure and where to seek support. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and engaged in excellent discussions and role-play around the different scenarios.
