What a fantastic afternoon KS1 had when their parents joined them in a mapping workshop. They began the workshop by looking at a map from 1950 and a map of 2023 of our local area of Windy Nook. They discussed with their adult what human and physical features they could see and how our area has changed overtime. The children then drew a map of our local area drawing symbols on to show key features.
