This week, Tulips, Snowdrops and Bluebells have been researching different breads. The children tested sourdough, naan, pitta, tortilla and baguette for texture, appearance, smell and taste!
Everyone enjoyed rating their breads and deliberating over which bread to choose for their sandwich-making D&T project. After this research element, the children will explore seasonality of ingredients and food hygiene. They will then design, make and evaluate their chosen sandwich.
