We are delighted to introduce our newly elected School Council members for this academic year.

Our School Council gives children the opportunity to have a voice in school life, share ideas, and help make positive changes for everyone in our community. Through their role, council members develop important leadership skills, learn how to represent the views of others, and work together to make decisions that benefit the whole school.
The School Council plays an important part in promoting British Values. Through discussions, voting and decision-making, pupils learn about democracy and how everyone’s voice matters. They show mutual respect by listening to the opinions of others, and they demonstrate individual liberty by confidently sharing their ideas and suggestions. Council members also help to uphold our school’s values and contribute positively to our community.
Our new representatives have already set to work and are leading the launch of our Harvest Festival Food Bank Collection, supporting the Gateshead Food Bank. They are encouraging pupils and families to donate non-perishable food items to support local people who may need extra help. This initiative reflects our commitment to kindness, community spirit and helping others.
We are incredibly proud of all our School Council members and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have throughout the year. Thank you to everyone who supports their work and contributes to making our school an even better place to learn and grow.
Together, we can make a difference.
