This Friday, the children of Windy Nook gathered to mark ‘Get Singing for BBC Music Day.’ This is a national event to kick off the BBC’s ‘Ten Pieces’ programme of music events for 2018-19.
The children watched an interactive video, presented by Wayne Ellington from TV’s ‘The Voice UK.’ He led everyone through vocal warm-ups and tongue twisters, before finishing with a rendition of ‘Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.’
A huge well done to all children who participated. They ‘got singing’ brilliantly.
