Last week, all classes in school learnt about online safety. The theme of this year’s Safer Internet Day was consent, with the slogan ‘Our Internet, Our Choice’.
The internet is a wonderful resource for our children, but the risks associated with internet use are ever-growing and ever-evolving.
Useful websites for parents include http://internetmatters.org which hosts a wealth of information about the dangers the internet can pose to our children, as well as useful guides to setting up parental controls and to the apps our children use most often.
