Owls have been very busy this week in preparation for World Book Day. We have been learning interesting facts about the British author and illustrator Jill Murphy. The class have spent the week reading a selection of her books – The Worst Witch, Peace at Last, Five Minutes Peace, All In One Piece and Whatever Next! We had a class discussion on what everyone’s favourite book was recording this in a tally chart and then into a bar chart. They then completed a book review on their favourite Jill Murphy book. And finally, they have all produced a Jill Murphy fact file with some fascinating facts. Watch this space!
