In the past few weeks we have been learning about our early human ancestors and how we have evolved to become the modern humans that we are today.
We have especially enjoyed learning about “Lucy” the earliest “human” fossil discovered. Our favorite facts about her include that she was a very complete specimen with over 40% of her skeleton being discovered and that she was only 1.1m tall.
We also found about Neanderthals and found out about how they thrived to survive the ice ages where other’s failed.
