Article 28: You have the right to a good quality education. You should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level you can.
Today in Oaks we started our new topic on WW1. This will primarily be a local history topic but to start with we learned all about the background to the start of the conflict including about the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
We then took part in a class role play, playing the parts of different world leaders and discussed how they developed the alliances involved in the chain of events that led to WW1.
There was some excellent acting and several extremely convincing leaders! Well done everyone!
