Last week UKS2 were calculating the diameters of each planet, as well as the their respective distances from the Sun. The maths skills used were knowledge of ratios and conversion of km to cm. Then then drew the inner rocky planets in their books; however, the outer gas giants were too big, so they decided to draw them on the yard instead. A human numberline helped them to see the the enormous distances that each planet has from the Sun.
