Hi everyone,
Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I will miss seeing some of you this week but hope you all have a week full of fun. Remember to keep posting enteries on Tapestry, we love looking at them.
Here are the activities for today.

LITERACY:

Discuss the plot and characters. Talk about first, then, next and finally.
Make a story map using drawings and writing key words. Encourage your child to write key words that describe different parts of the story map.

Mathematics:

• This week we will be learning about ordinal numbers.
• Grab a few toys. You can use stuffed animals, cars, trains, lego bricks, or any other objects that interest your child. Start out with 3-5 objects and create ordinal number cards for 1st to 5th. Line the objects up in a row. Then let your child point to the object and match the correct number card.

• Use the days of the week to practise ordinal numbers. Write the days of the week in order and ask if they can point to the 3rd day of the week? Can they tll you what the 5th day of the week is etc.
