Owls return with a bang!

What a fantastic first week back for Owls. They have been super busy learning lots of new and interesting things. We had lots of discussions about our feelings and worries going back to school. We talked about being in a bubble at school and went outside in our bubble with bubbles.

In English we watched a video about a worry monster and how we could help him separate all his mixed up feelings.

Maths we learnt all about time, o’clock and half past. They took part in races to time themselves who was the fastest and who was the slowest. The children even made their own clocks.

They took part in the Gateshead Schools Sports Partnership run and to make it fun they made superhero masks and crowns. For our topic Australia they made beautiful silhouette pictures of Australian animals.

The children all had great fun and were super excited to come back.
