Good morning all. Here are your activities to enjoy today:

English

https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/api/interactives/30463.html

Today you are going to continue reading the story. You will read pages 12-15. Think about the exercise you have been doing whilst you have been staying at home. Think of all the different verbs and adverbs that you could use for your exercise. Remember verbs are ‘action/doing words’ and adverbs are words that describe the verb. You might want to do your exercise activity before you complete this task.

In your book, draw a picture of you, or you and your family members doing exercise at home. Make a list of all the verbs and adverbs you can think of. For example, if you have been doing yoga you could write: ‘slowly stretching’ ‘breathing deeply’. If you have been doing Jo Wicks PE videos – you could write ‘running fast’ ‘quickly bouncing on the spot’. You can do this by either writing a list or writing a small description of you doing your exercise.

Phonics

Today focus on ‘o’.

Log onto Phonics Play and play the game ‘Cheeky Chimps’. You have to give the banana to the Chimp with the correct sound. Practise reading the word first before giving the banana to the chimp. See how many you get correct!
