Here are the activities for today.

Article 28: You have the right to a good quality education. You should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level you can.

LITERACY:
Re-read the story Zog and the Flying Doctors – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WE8KV4dydak Use the book to create a collection of rhyming words. Play word rhyme tennis with a grown up. Can you think of other words that rhyme with the words you have found? Remember you can make up nonsense words. For example, Zog, bog, log, hog, cog. You may want to write a list of your rhyming words.

Mathematics:

(20 mins) Daily count up to a given number (up to 30). Count back from 20. Quick fire 1 more than 1 less than. (1 more than 3, 1 less than 6.)

• Today I would like you to try something new. Go onto the Oak National Academy website and use the ordinal numbers lesson. In this lesson children will create a repeat pattern using colouring pencils and notice the order in which the colours appear.
