The Dragonflies have had a fabulous week of fun learning this week. They have explored the great outdoors looking for signs of autumn, collecting autumn leaves and other autumn treasures. They have also spent lots of time outdoor making wands, a witches lair and retelling the story of Room on the broom. The children enjoyed exploring ordinal numbers, before climbing on the broom. “…and whoosh they were gone!”
The children have loved all of our Halloween themed learning this week. They have explored size, ordinal numbers and have loved the cauldron counting game. They have shown super skill with writing words this week, trying very hard with their letter formation.
The children have created many fabulous creations with week, making spooky spiders and monsters, perfect pumpkins and creepy castles.
