In Tulips we have been learning all about multiplication this week. Yesterday we used the dienes to practice multiplying a ones number by a tens number. We know that 2 x 30 is 2 lots of 30. We then made an array using the dienes, this helped us to calculate the final answer. Then in today’s lesson we used the smile method to answer the same style of questions.
