This week in maths we have been focusing on 2D shapes. We started off the week naming the different 2D shapes and yesterday we looked at how many sides they had. For our problem solving we had to work out how many hexagons you could make from 18 lollipop sticks. To help us work this out we decided to do it in groups with actual lollipop sticks. The children worked hard to find the answer and then create a variety of other different shapes including a 20 sided one after!
