Anti-bullying week in KS1

This week we have been taking part in a number of activities for anti-bullying week. We kicked it off with Odd Socks day on Monday where children came in wearing their odd socks. We discussed what this represented in terms of anti-bullying and discussed how our differences make us unique. The children then designed their own odd socks.

Children in Year 2 also discussed how we all have to come together to tackle bullying. The Nightingales designed their own antibullying super heroes with powers like super kindness and super listening. Both classes also discussed some scenarios and did a bit of acting to work out how best to solve them. The children had a lot of fun pretending to be the grown ups when acting out.

Well done KS1.
