Road Safety in UKS2

This week UKS2 have been looking at road safety and how important it is to keep safe. We all discussed the possibilities of danger when near roads and then collated ideas for how to stay safe. We were impressed with how much children knew!

In particular, we looked at the slogan ‘No Need for Speed’. Children talked about when speed is a good thing but also when it can be dangerous for example, when cars are going too fast. Children created posters giving top tips for keeping safe on roads-the outcomes were excellent!

Well done and continue to stay safe when near roads!

Article 17:You have the right to get information that is important to your well-being, from radio, newspaper, books, computers and other sources. Adults should make sure that the information you are getting is not harmful, and help you find and understand the information you need.

Article 29:Your education should help you use and develop your talents and abilities. It should also help you learn to live peacefully, protect the environment and respect other people.
