It has been a privilege this week to see our wonderful nursery children working from home during this period of isolation. A huge well done and thank you to all of our nursery parents, you have embraced home learning and done an incredible job of supporting your children. It has been wonderful to see how happy and healthy the children look during the live lessons and also in the fabulous photographs that you have uploaded to Tapestry.
We have continued our theme of key workers/super heroes this week and focused on dentists. We found out what happens at the dentists via stories and videos and we also made some lips and teeth with apple slices and mini marshmallows. We had fun counting the marshmallows/teeth and also eating them!
We have briefly revisited our ice experiment as Miss Clough woke up to find snow outside of her house this morning! We looked at a snowball as the day before we read a story called the luckiest Snowball. We watched the snowball begin to drip and melt as it was warm inside Miss Clough’s house! We didn’t have enough time to watch it completely melt so some photographs are included on this post (taken in Miss Clough’s yard by someone from her own household!).
Keep up the good work everyone and remember that you are doing a fabulous job! 🙂
